About Me.
Hi, I'm Amy Windeler! I am currently at the University of Salford studying animation and I am a developing 3D generalist. I've always wanted to pursue a career in animation because I've always been inspired by many animated films growing up such as Robots (2005), Treasure Planet (2002) and Transformers G1 (1984). My dad introduced me to transformers as a child and always loved it's visual storytelling which inspired me to develop my creative attributes in writing and art at a young age. I later developed the love for 3D animation when I entered my college years at Manchester University, continuing in Media city: university of Salford. I have a strong interest in the media industry, particularly because I enjoy working with various media software such as Blender, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Substance Painter.
I focus on creating visual storytelling using Blender and Maya. I have taken apart in different company events alongside of the BBC – Creative Media Camp creative workshop and the Lightwaves Festival in Salford which involved to producing to conceive and produce work in response to the briefs that my clients set.
I aspire to build a career in the media industry, as creating projects in 3D software and creating digital art brings me a lot of joy. I love exploring unique designs and am eager to improve my skills. I aim to gain as much experience as possible to further develop my abilities.
My personal skills include effective communication in groups, being proactive, creative and always open to explore fresh creative approaches to new tasks.
